Recognition as one of the best companies in the region is determined based on companies meeting the following criteria:

• In the top 30% of the industry in claims handling across all regions they serve
• More than $400 million auto insurance sold in 2020 (Hawaii excepted)
• Within the region, companies must be in the top 30% for claims handling in at least half the states in the region
